Alex Pagulayan did not set out to build a brand. He set out to find equipment he could trust.
Where it started
From his father's billiard hall to a pool hall in Toronto
Alex was born in Cabagan, Isabela. His father managed a billiard hall, and the game found him young. At 16 he moved to Toronto, where he trained obsessively against established players at Loma's until his skill outgrew every room he was playing in.

Why the brand exists
The chalk came first
Alex spent years running through formulas, looking for chalk that gripped consistently, stayed clean on the tip, and did not need reapplying every other shot. He tested everything available. Nothing hit all three. So he developed his own.
